History
Kaleidico was founded in 2003 by Bill Rice. The need for proactive lead management became apparent as he watched more and more mortgage consumers turn to the Web to research their mortgage needs. Marketing and lead generation firms, like LendingTree, LowerMyBills, and ZipSearch! became increasingly effective at educating and capturing these consumers' inquiries, but the banks and mortgage companies continued to lag in being able to efficiently receive, distribute, and respond to these ever increasing leads. This problem, as seen through the experience of a mortgage banker, led to icoSales, a lead management system that would give you the speed and the efficiency of a predictive dialer and the sales process flexibility of CRM. In January 2006, icoSales came off the drawing board and gave diverse sales operations (e.g., mortgage, insurance, education, and b2b services) the power to be the fastest and most consistent response on the Internet.
